Since 2004, I have been helping others, through therapeutic services. I believe in Unconditional Positive Regard-I respect you, your time, your process, your life.
I do not rely on any one therapeutic approach as human beings are all distinctly different. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques and will go the extra mile, every time, to help you succeed.
Examples of techniques used: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt Reality Therapy, Brief Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Freedom Tapping Techniques, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing and other Evidenced Based Practices (EBP)
The Counseling Process:
I will email you intake paperwork. Please let me know if you have any questions. During our first consultation and/or our first meeting we will discuss what brings you into therapy, go over paperwork, questions, and determine together if we are a good fit. Therapy is a relationship like any other and it is important that you feel heard, understood and accepted.
Sessions are generally scheduled for 50-minute periods. Length and frequency of sessions can be increased or decreased to adequately reflect your needs.
Face to Face sessions are conducted in my office at Face to Face sessions will be conducted in my office located at 1100 w Littleton Blvd, #320, Littleton, CO 80120. Telephone sessions are conducted on my confidential business cell phone at 620-481-7261. Virtual Sessions are conducted using the Zoom. If you schedule a Virtual Session, I will send you an email with an invite and password prior to our first session. You will use this same link and password each time you have a virtual session.
Case Consultation and Supervision:
I provide Clinical Supervision for LPC, CAT, CAS or LAC- It will be your responsibility to fill out all your paperwork for supervision.
Messages, Phone Calls, Emails and Emergencies:
The nature of my psychotherapy services are strictly outpatient and I cannot assume responsibility for your day-to-day functioning. If your needs rise above this level of care or your issues are outside my areas of competency, I am legally bound to refer you to another therapist, level of care, and/or terminate our therapeutic relationship.
I am not always immediately available on the phone as I do not answer when I am meeting with another client or after my office hours, which are Monday-Thursday 9a-5p. I do not work on Fridays. Feel free to leave me a voicemail or text message. Every effort will be made to return your call or text within 24-48 hours during office hours.
